Dr. Jeffrey Doblin
Dr. Jeffrey Marc Doblin is a dental specialist limiting his practice to the fields of periodontology and dental implants. Dr. Doblin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987, which included a 3- month internship at the National Institute of Health, in the Department of Dental Research. In dental school, he received a research grant from the American Cancer Society, and studied gingival hyperplasia at the Veterans Administration Hospital. Dr. Doblin then received a full tuition scholarship from the National Institute of Dental Research to study periodontology at the University of Rochester, Eastman Dental Center. His research focused on osteoblast bone differentiation in rats, and presented his findings at Trinity College, Dublin Ireland. Dr. Doblin completed his three-year certificate program in 1990.
Dr. Doblin has been performing clinical periodontology for over 20 years, and dental implants for most of that time. As a clinical associate professor in the graduate department of periodontology for 10 years, Dr. Doblin received a clinical fellowship for implant training from ITI, a division of the Straumann dental implant company. He has been an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology since 1990. Currently a member of the ITI Implant Study Club, Dr. Doblin regularly attends numerous meetings in his specialty, including the annual American Academy of Periodontology and the European Association of Osseointegration meetings. Dr. Doblin is proficient in all aspects of clinical periodontology and dental implants, and particularly enjoys regenerative therapy and esthetic soft tissue grafting.
Dr. Doblin’s hobbies include screen printing, visits to NYC, especially art galleries, traveling abroad with his family and reading the New York Times.
