Alec E. Keon, DMD
Alec E. Keon, DMD was born in Trenton, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology from Connecticut College in New London where he graduated magna cum laude with honors and distinction. After a short career as a pharmaceutical chemist he fell in love with the field of dentistry and earned his DMD at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, formerly UMDNJ, where he graduated among the top of his class. In order to expand his knowledge he then completed a general practice residency at Morristown Medical Center where he trained among leaders in the field.
Dr. Keon is the recipient of numerous academic and clinical awards and has been inducted into several dental honor societies including Gamma Pi Delta and OKU. He is committed to lifelong learning and is currently pursuing fellowship in the academy of general dentistry. He has training in all aspects of general dentistry and enjoys working with children and adults alike!
Dr. Keon holds membership in the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Tricounty Dental Society and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Outside of the practice he loves cooking and playing tennis. He resides in Central NJ with his wife, Kaitlin.
